BELLYDANCE CLASSES WITH EKATERINI

STUDIO LOCATION: Forever Dance- 432 Church Street, Richmond (close to the corner of Swan Street)

**All classes will commence learning a new choreography in preparation for Bellydance Bohemia's end of year student showcase, held at the Thornbury Theatre on Sunday 4th December 2016. Students interested in performing will be required to purchase a bellydance costume for the performance.

 

MONDAYS

BEGINNER LEVEL

Monday 5th September - 24th October (8-weeks)

6.30pm - 7.30pm

Absolute beginner welcome! Classes will focus on learning the fundamental movements of bellydance technique as well as introducing students to drills that will help to build powerful muscle control. This class will also commence learning a fun and easy oriental choreography that will be performed at Bellydance Bohemia's end of year student showcase. **Performing is optional for beginners but recommended as a great way to learn and improve technique.

 

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Monday 5th September - 24th October (8-weeks)

7.30pm - 8.30pm

Students will continue developing their veil dancing technique and commence learning a new silk veil choreography to perform at the end of year showcase. Classes will also include drills and combinations. **Students will be required to bring along their own silk veil to classes.

 

TUESDAYS

ADVANCED LEVEL

Tuesday 6th September - Tuesday 25th October (8-weeks)

7.30pm - 8.30pm

Classes will focus on saidi (cane dance) technique and students will commence learning a new saidi choreography to perform at the end of year showcase. There will also be time allocated in class to run through and polish up the Turkish drum solo (taught in term 3) which will also be performed at the showcase.**Students will be required to bring along their own saidi cane to classes.

 

COURSE FEE:

Full term: $140

4 class card: $75

Casual: $20

First class trial: $15
